Since I purchased the OnePlus Ace2 Pro last year at launch, this phone, which boasts high performance and excellent heat dissipation, has accompanied me for nine months. However, over time, my evaluation of this phone has gradually shifted from initial expectations to disappointment. - Serious Heating Issues
From the very first version of the update, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro has frequently experienced heating problems. Whether chatting on QQ, listening to music, or browsing daily, the phone becomes extremely hot in a short period. This overheating not only affects the user experience but also raises concerns about the phone's lifespan and safety. Although subsequent versions attempted to address this issue, the effects were not significant, and in some cases, the heating problem even worsened.
- Decline in Gaming Performance
As a phone that claims high performance, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro's performance in gaming has been disappointing. While earlier versions (such as 13.1 and 407) performed reasonably well in gaming, the later updated versions showed a noticeable decline in performance. During gaming, the phone not only overheated significantly but also exhibited unstable frame rates, with instances of lag and crashes. This is undoubtedly unacceptable for a gaming enthusiast.
- Battery Life and Charging Issues
In addition to heating and gaming performance issues, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro also has problems with battery life and charging. After updating to certain versions, I found that the phone's battery life had significantly decreased, even failing to reach the levels advertised by the manufacturer. However, in actual use, I found that the heat dissipation effect was not as advertised, and the battery life fell far short of the "long-life" standard. This false advertising not only harms consumer rights but also significantly undermines my trust in the OnePlus brand.
